Lava has launched its latest budget-friendly smartphone, the Lava Yuva Star 2, in the Indian market this week. The new phone comes with a slew of improvements, including a bigger display, a more reliable battery and still runs on the Android Go version which is designed for low-end devices.

Lava Yuva Star 2 has launched in India priced at Rs 6,499 which gets you the single 4GB and 64GB storage variant.
The Yuva Star 2 phone is already available at retail outlets across the country. The handset comes with a one-year warranty, and the company ensures free home service for Yuva Star 2 owners.
Lava Yuva Star 2: Specifications
The new Lava Yuva Star 2 features a 6.75-inch HD+ display and comes with a glossy back design. It is powered by a Unisoc chipset, and you get it with Android 14 Go Edition which is tailored for entry-level smartphones with limited hardware capabilities. Moreover, the device gets 4GB of RAM and 64GB of inbuilt storage. The built-in memory can be expanded up to 128 GB using a microSD card for more space.
Lava is offering an AI-backed dual rear camera setup which includes a 13MP primary sensor and for selfies you get a 5MP front-facing camera. The Yuva Star 2 phone packs a 5,000mAh battery with support for 10W charging via a USB Type-C port.
The handset includes both a side-mounted fingerprint sensor and a face unlock sensor for authentication. Other features include an anonymous call recording. The company also claimed that the Yuva Star 2 will deliver a bloatware-free experience with no pre-installed apps.
